The V-Sol Pro V7 is the elongated I'd get if you win your points at the net, because at $99.99 with my code, it scored 94 out of 100 for pop, the most of any paddle under $100 with my codes. It's Vatic's 16mm thermoformed elongated, with a full foam EPP core and a raw Toray carbon face, and it's been on sale since September 2025. Counters and speed-ups come off it fast, and it has a bigger sweet spot than nearly every elongated I've tested. What you give up is drive power. Its power score of 69 out of 100 is clearly below the average elongated's, so your drives and serves need a full swing. As of October 21, 2026, Vatic has it in stock with a 5.3 inch or a 5.6 inch handle. It's $109.99, or $99.99 with the code STSPICKLEBALL. I earn a commission when you use my codes. Vatic didn't send me this one. I tested it the same way as every other paddle.

Pros and cons

Pros

  • The V7 scored 94 out of 100 for pop, and only seven paddles I've tested pop more.
  • Its sweet spot scored 71 out of 100, and only three elongateds I've tested have a bigger one.
  • It's one of only two elongateds I've tested that score 90 or more for pop and 70 or more for sweet spot. The other one is the Selkirk Boomstik Elongated, at $333.
  • Its control score of 57 out of 100 is clearly higher than the average elongated's, so your soft game has more room than the pop suggests.

Cons

  • It scored 69 out of 100 for power, and about half the paddles I've tested hit harder. Your drives and serves get less help from the paddle.
  • Its control beats the average elongated's, but with a pop score of 94 out of 100, a pushed dink or reset still floats.
  • The 5.3 inch handle on the Standard is tight for a two-handed backhand.

Quick answers

Is the Vatic V-Sol Pro USA Pickleball approved?

Yes. USA Pickleball's approved paddle list shows both the V-Sol Pro V7 16mm and the V7 LH 16mm, added August 26, 2025, so you can play either handle at USA Pickleball sanctioned events. It isn't UPA-A approved, which is the separate approval you need for UPA-A events like PPA qualifiers. That's how the list read on October 21, 2026.

V-Sol Pro V7 standard or long handle?

Vatic sells the V7 with a 5.3 inch Standard handle or a 5.6 inch Long Handle. Both cost $109.99. I tested the 5.3 inch Standard, and every score on this page comes from that one. The Standard is tight for a two-handed backhand. If you hit one, the 5.6 inch Long Handle leaves room for two hands.

Is the V-Sol Pro V7 good for beginners?

It's not where I'd start. With a pop score of 94 out of 100, soft shots come off the face fast, so a beginner's dinks and resets pop up easily. Its sweet spot and control are friendly for an elongated, though, so a player who already keeps resets down can grow into it.

Stiff and hollow, and the ball is gone right away

The V7 plays on the stiff side, with a hollow, Gen 3 style feel. The ball leaves the face quickly instead of sinking in, which is why short swings come off with so much pace. If you like the feel of a Gen 3 paddle like the JOOLA Perseus Pro IV, the V7 feels close to that, even with foam inside.

It swings like the average elongated. Swing weight is how heavy the paddle feels when you swing it, and lower means faster hands. The V7's swing weight came in at 116.5, and the average elongated comes in at about 118, so it moves as fast as the average elongated at the kitchen.

Twist weight is how much the face resists twisting when you miss the center. The V7's twist weight measured 6.56, and the average elongated measures about 6.2. Only 15 elongateds I've tested are higher, so the V7 holds steadier on off-center blocks than the average elongated does.

Counters and speed-ups are the V7's best shots

Pop is the pace you get off short swings at the net, and this is where the V7 earns its place. It scored 94 out of 100 for pop. Only seven paddles I've tested have more, and three of those are elongateds. The average elongated scores about 74 for pop, so that's far more pop than you get from the shape in general.

What that means on court is that speed-ups and counters jump off the face from a compact swing. You don't need a big backswing to win a hands battle, and a ball that sits up at the kitchen line is easy to punish. The Boomstik Elongated pops a little more, with a pop score of 99, but it costs $333.

Drives and serves need your swing

Vatic says the V-Sol Pro "delivers explosive baseline power." My power score doesn't back that up. Power is the pace on full swings, and the V7 scored 69 out of 100 for it. The average elongated scores about 80, so the V7 hits clearly softer. About half the paddles I've tested hit harder.

So the pace you get at the kitchen doesn't carry back to the baseline. Your drives and serves need a full swing, and so do your returns if you want them deep. The elongated's reach helps you get to overheads, but the pace on those comes from your swing, too.

Adding weight is the fix if you want more drive. A few grams of lead tape at 3 and 9 o'clock gives the V7 more power on drives and steadies it on off-center hits. The V7's swing weight of 116.5 is about the same as the average elongated's, so a few grams still leave it close to an average elongated's swing. Since October 2025, owners across the V7, Flash and Bloom shapes have reported that the V-Sol Pro takes added weight well, usually 3 to 7 grams.

Spin is right in the middle. The V7 measured 2,288 RPM in my spin test. The average elongated measures about 2,278 RPM, so that's about the same. There's no grit on the face, just Vatic's raw Toray T700 carbon with a heat-pressed texture, so topspin drives and serves get the same help they'd get from the average elongated.

A sweet spot that's big for an elongated, and more room on soft shots

Off-center hits

The V7 is one of the most forgiving elongateds I've tested. It scored 71 out of 100 for sweet spot, and only three elongateds I've tested have a bigger one. The average elongated scores about 52, so the V7's sweet spot is clearly bigger. Vatic says the EVA foam ring around the EPP center expands the sweet spot, and my score backs that up.

Put that next to the pop and you get a rare pair. The V7 is one of only two elongateds I've tested that score 90 or more for pop and 70 or more for sweet spot. The other is the Boomstik Elongated, at $333, which is $233.01 more than the V7's $99.99 with my code.

Dinks, resets and blocks

Control and sweet spot are my scores from the same ball-machine dink, drop and reset drills every paddle gets. The V7 scored 57 for control, and the average elongated scores about 45, so the V7 is clearly more controllable.

The pop is still in every shot, though. Dinks need a light touch, and resets take more care than they would on a softer paddle. A hard ball you block won't die on the face the way it does on a plush paddle, so it comes back with some pace. With a pop score of 94 out of 100, the V7's face adds pace even on short swings, so keep your grip loose on resets and blocks and swing less than you would with a softer paddle.

Full foam under a raw carbon face, for $109.99

The core is 16mm of full foam. Vatic calls it a floating EPP core with an EVA foam ring around the perimeter, and my database lists injected foam at the edge, too. The face is raw Toray T700 carbon fiber with a heat-pressed texture, the whole paddle is thermoformed, and an anti-abrasion TPU edge guard runs around the rim. Vatic also puts two polyurethane inserts in the grip, which it says cut shock and help with tennis elbow.

The V7 is 16.5 inches long and 7.5 inches wide. The grip is 4.125 inches around. Vatic lists an average weight of 8.0 oz, and my database lists a weight range of 7.9 to 8.3 oz. Vatic doesn't publish a swing weight or twist weight. It does take custom weight requests, but it says it can't promise exact weights. The warranty is one year.

Owners love the price, and they split on power

Vatic sells the V7, Flash and Bloom shapes on one V-Sol Pro product page, so the owner counts here cover all three shapes. As of October 21, 2026, that page had 797 reviews, and 681 of them were five stars.

Value is the big theme. From October 2025 to September 2026, 12 owners wrote that it plays like paddles that cost $200 or more.

Power is where owners split, across all three shapes. Six owners, from March to September 2026, wrote that drives lack power or that it feels too soft. Five others, from October 2025 to July 2026, said the pop was too much to control at their level. That split matches what I measured on the V7, with a pop score of 94 out of 100 and a power score of 69.

As of October 21, 2026, about 13 months after it first shipped, I haven't found a defect that three or more owners report.

V-Sol Pro V7 or Enhance MPP Turbo ArmorGrit Elongated?

The ArmorGrit Elongated is the paddle I'd put next to the V7 first, because both cost $99.99 with the code STSPICKLEBALL. The ArmorGrit Elongated lists at $119.99 and the code takes $20 off, while the V7 lists at $109.99 and the code takes $10 off.

They're close on forgiveness and soft shots. The V7 has a little bigger sweet spot, 71 out of 100 against 66. Control is about the same, 57 against 53. They even measured the same twist weight, 6.56.

The difference is where the pace shows up. The V7 has clearly more pop, 94 against 82, so it's the stronger paddle in hands battles. The ArmorGrit Elongated has far more power, 90 against 69, so its drives and serves come off much harder. It also spins more, at 2,338 RPM against the V7's 2,288 RPM, because Enhance puts its ArmorGrit coating over the face. And the ArmorGrit Elongated swings a little lighter, with a swing weight of 112.8 against the V7's 116.5.

Fit is the other difference. The ArmorGrit Elongated's 5.7 inch handle has room for two hands, and the V7's 5.3 inch Standard handle is tight. Both are USA Pickleball approved and not UPA-A approved. Both warranties run one year, and Enhance's covers just the core.

So get the ArmorGrit Elongated if you win with drives, serves and spin, or you hit a two-handed backhand. Get the V7 if you win at the kitchen with counters and speed-ups, and you want the bigger sweet spot. Enhance's EPP Turbo Elongated also lists at $119.99 and comes to $99.99 with the code STSPICKLEBALL, but it was sold out on Enhance's store on October 21, 2026.

Enhance MPP Turbo ArmorGrit Hybrid, $119.99, or $99.99 with code STSPICKLEBALL. It's the same price as the V7 after the codes, and it's the better all-court buy if you don't need the elongated's reach. It has clearly more power and clearly more control than the V7, plus a little bigger sweet spot, for a little less pop. It spins more, at 2,354 RPM against the V7's 2,288 RPM. It swings clearly lighter as well, and its 5.5 inch handle has room for two hands. It's USA Pickleball approved, and Enhance's one-year warranty covers just the core. It suits players who want one paddle that does a bit of everything.

Ronbus Quanta Pro R2.16, $119.99, or $107.99 with code STSPICKLEBALL. This is the V7's pop in a widebody, for $8 more with the codes. Pop, power and spin come out about the same, and it has a clearly bigger sweet spot and clearly more control. It swings clearly lighter, with a swing weight of 106.6 against the V7's 116.5. Its 5.5 inch handle has room for two hands. It's USA Pickleball approved, and the warranty is six months. It suits hands players who don't need the reach.

Selkirk Boomstik Elongated, $333. This is the V7's game with the power added on top, and the Boomstik Elongated costs $233.01 more than the V7's $99.99 with my code. Its sweet spot, control and spin come out about the same as the V7's, it has a little more pop, and it has far more power, 97 out of 100 against the V7's 69. Its 5.8 inch handle has room for two hands, and Selkirk covers it with a lifetime warranty. The code INF-STSPICKLEBALL doesn't lower the price. It adds a $40 Selkirk gift card to your order instead. It suits players who want an elongated that does everything the V7 does and also hits hard.

Buy it for your hands, and skip it if you win with drives

Do you win at the kitchen with counters and speed-ups, miss the center now and then, and want an elongated for $99.99 with my code? Get the V-Sol Pro V7. The only other elongated I've tested with that much pop and that big a sweet spot costs $333.

Skip it if you win with drives and serves, because the ArmorGrit Elongated gives you far more power for the same $99.99. Skip it if you're new to the game or your resets still pop up, because the pop comes off every shot. And if you hit a two-handed backhand, either get the 5.6 inch Long Handle or look at the ArmorGrit Elongated.
