The best elongated pickleball paddle is the Honolulu J6CR Crystal Blue at $175.50 with code STS10, because it measured 2,424 RPM, and only two paddles I've tested spin more, both of them Honolulu Crystal Blue paddles.
These are the 10 elongated paddles I'd buy right now, in the order I'd recommend them. An elongated gives you the most reach and power of the three shapes, and what it costs you is sweet spot and control, so each card tells you how much forgiveness that paddle keeps and who should skip it. Two of the ten are approved by UPA-A only.

Score out of 100Rank among elongateds you can buy
This is the elongated I'd get, and it's first on my Best of 2026 list too. The J6CR Crystal Blue measured 2,424 RPM, more than any other elongated I've tested, and in my wear test, Crystal Blue lost about 1% of its spin over 75 games, the same as 11SIX24's HexGrit. It's forgiving for the shape, too. Only two elongateds I've tested have a bigger sweet spot, and its control is far above a typical elongated's. It's a bit stiffer than the raw carbon J6CR, but you still get a little of the soft feel Honolulu paddles are known for, compared to most power paddles. It's just not a plush paddle. It's quick for an elongated, and dinks stay down and take spin well.
Who should skip it: Skip it if you play USA Pickleball sanctioned events, because it's approved by UPA-A only, and the raw J6CR is the approved version.
Honolulu sells it in numbered pre-order batches, and on October 14, 2026, batch 12 was sold out and batch 13 was set to ship November 13, 2026.
It's first because it has the most spin and the most control on this list. The Boomstik Elongated below hits clearly harder with clearly more pop and about the same sweet spot, but the J6CR spins far more, swings lighter and costs $157.50 less. It's $175.50 with code STS10.

Score out of 100Rank among elongateds you can buy
This is the elongated for all-out pace without giving up the sweet spot. The Boomstik Elongated has a bigger sweet spot than any other elongated I've tested, and only two paddles I've tested have more pop. It's also one of only two elongateds I've tested that score 90 or more for both power and pop. It's firm and stiff for a foam paddle, with an immediate response that's closer to a Gen 3 honeycomb build, and it's very loud, with a hollow crack. The pace tracks your swing, with no break-in drift, and the instant pop makes counters and speed-ups dangerous. Owners have reported better kitchen control than they expected from a power paddle.
Who should skip it: Skip it if you win at the kitchen with dinks and resets, because its control of 56 is clearly below the J6CR's 69.
It sits below the J6CR Crystal Blue, which spins far more and has clearly more control. Next to the OMNI Elongated below, the Boomstik hits clearly harder with far more pop, while the OMNI has clearly more control and costs $33 less. The Boomstik is $333. Selkirk's code INF-STSPICKLEBALL adds a Selkirk gift card instead of lowering the price.

Score out of 100Rank among elongateds you can buy
If you want one elongated for every shot, this is the steady one. The OMNI Elongated has a twist weight of 7.02, the highest of any elongated I've tested and the only one at 7.0 or more, so the face resists turning on mishits better than any other elongated. Its control is far above a typical elongated's, and it's approved by both USA Pickleball and UPA-A. It plays like a toned-down Boomstik. With the stock clip weights in, it's stiff and hollow, a step softer than the Boomstik, with far less pop, and resets come easier. Owners have reported the balance of control and power they wanted, in one paddle that resets, dinks and drives.
Who should skip it: Skip it if you want quick hands at the kitchen, because its swing weight of 119.5 is the heaviest on this list.
It sits below the Boomstik on pace. Next to the Q2 Elongated below, it has far more control and a far bigger sweet spot, while the Q2 hits clearly harder with about the same spin and costs $75.01 less. The OMNI is $300. Selkirk's code INF-STSPICKLEBALL adds a Selkirk gift card instead of lowering the price.

This is Boomstik-style power for $108.01 less than a Boomstik. The Q2 Elongated scored 98 out of 100 for power, and only two paddles I've tested hit harder. It's also one of only four paddles I've tested that score 90 or more for both power and spin, and the only one of those you can take to a USA Pickleball event. It's stiff and hollow in the Boomstik mold, with a loud, boomy sound, and it's very poppy off short strokes. Keep in mind it's a bit touchy, so small contact errors can send the ball long. It comes with a lifetime warranty.
Who should skip it: Skip it if you miss the center a lot, because its sweet spot of 38 is the smallest on this list.
It gives up far more forgiveness than the OMNI above for clearly more power. Next to the V-Sol Pro V7 below, it has far more power and more spin, while the V7 has a far bigger sweet spot, far more control and costs $125 less. The Q2 is $224.99 with code STSPICKLEBALL.

Code STSPICKLEBALL takes $10 off, and my link applies it. How the Vatic Pro code works
Score out of 100Rank among elongateds you can buy
This is the most pop you can get for $100. The V-Sol Pro V7 scored 94 out of 100 for pop, more than any other paddle I've tested that's under $100 with my codes, and it's $99.99 with code STSPICKLEBALL. It's forgiving for an elongated, too, since only three elongateds I've tested have a bigger sweet spot. It's on the stiff side, with a hollow, Gen 3 style feel, and it's poppy off short strokes, a step below the Boomstik Elongated. That easy pop makes counters and speed-ups dangerous. Owners have reported that it plays like paddles that cost $200 or more, and that it takes a few grams of weight at 3 and 9 o'clock well.
Who should skip it: Skip it if you want drive power or hit a two-handed backhand, because its power is the lowest on this list and its 5.3 inch handle is the shortest here.
The Q2 above hits far harder, but the V7 has a far bigger sweet spot and far more control for $125 less. Next to the Hurache-X Power 2 below, the V7 has far more control for $100 less, while the Hurache-X has far more power, more spin and a 6 inch handle.

Code STSPICKLEBALL takes $10 off, and my link applies it. How the 11SIX24 code works
Score out of 100Rank among elongateds you can buy
This is the reach shape of 11SIX24's Power 2 line. The Hurache-X Power 2 scored 92 out of 100 for power, and only ten paddles I've tested hit harder. It measured 2,354 RPM from the same HexGrit as the rest of the Power 2 line, and its 6 inch handle ties for the longest on this list. It's firm and crisp, and it leans hollow. You get leverage and plow-through on drives and serves from the baseline, but it's the least forgiving Power 2 shape, with a tighter sweet spot that punishes off-center contact. Owners have reported power with control at the kitchen, and that the long handle works well for two-handed backhands.
Who should skip it: Skip it if your soft game still needs help or you play USA Pickleball events, because its control of 32 is far below the J6CR's 69 and it's approved by UPA-A only.
It sits below the V7 on forgiveness and price. Next to the ArmorGrit Elongated below, power and spin are about the same, and the Hurache-X has a little more pop and the longer handle, while the ArmorGrit has far more control and costs $100 less. The Hurache-X is $199.99 with code STSPICKLEBALL.

Code STSPICKLEBALL takes $20 off, and my link applies it. How the Enhance code works
Score out of 100Rank among elongateds you can buy
This is the budget elongated I'd start with, at $99.99 with code STSPICKLEBALL, and it's first on my under $100 list. It scored 90 for power and measured 2,338 RPM, and that spin is what's new. Enhance says the ArmorGrit coating is the only change from its original MPP Turbo, and next to that original, it spins far more. It's hollow and deep at contact, the usual MPP sound, and it hits hard on drives and serves. It's also fairly stable for an elongated, and it swings light for the shape, since only 12 elongateds I've tested swing lighter.
Who should skip it: Skip it if you need help on resets, because its control of 53 is clearly below the J6CR's 69.
Enhance put it on sale on October 5, 2026, and the original MPP Turbo Elongated is still sold at the same price.
It sits below the Hurache-X, which has a little more pop and the longer handle. Next to the EPP Turbo Elongated below, the power is about the same, but the ArmorGrit spins more, has far more control and swings lighter, at the same price.

Budget power for strong playersBudget pick
$99.99with my codelist price $119.99
Code STSPICKLEBALL takes $20 off, and my link applies it. How the Enhance code works
Score out of 100Rank among elongateds you can buy
This is the budget elongated for strong players who want power, and it's sixth on my advanced list for that reason. The EPP Turbo Elongated scored 91 out of 100 for power, and only 13 paddles I've tested hit harder, for $99.99 with code STSPICKLEBALL. It's firm for a foam paddle, in the same family as Bread & Butter's Loco and the V-Sol Pro, with plenty of pop at the kitchen but no trampoline feel. It's consistent across the face, and it's strong on drives and serves. Just know it won't soak up pace for you, so resets take a little calibration.
Who should skip it: Skip it if spin comes first, because its 2,277 RPM is the lowest on this list.
It sits below the ArmorGrit Elongated, which spins more and has far more control. Next to the Engage Axiom below, it hits clearly harder and costs $80 less, while the Axiom spins far more and has a little more pop.

Score out of 100Rank among elongateds you can buy
This is the one for players who still love the feel of a Gen 3 paddle. The Engage Axiom Elongated measured 2,394 RPM, more than any other Gen 3 paddle I've tested, and only two elongateds I've tested spin more. It scored 91 for pop, too. It has the classic polymer honeycomb feel, firm and crisp, and much firmer than the foam paddles on this list, with a hollow sound and a fast response on short strokes. It's approved by both USA Pickleball and UPA-A, and Engage covers it with a lifetime warranty. Owners have reported that they prefer it to Engage's X2 and Alpha Pro.
Who should skip it: Skip it if you miss the center often, because its twist weight of 5.81 is the lowest on this list, so the face turns more on mishits.
It sits below the EPP Turbo Elongated, which hits clearly harder for $80 less. Next to the Aura Pro Elongated below, the Axiom spins far more, with clearly more control and a little more pop, while the Aura Pro hits clearly harder and costs $27.89 less. The Axiom is $179.99 with code STSPICKLEBALL.

Score out of 100Rank among elongateds you can buy
This is big power for the money. The Aura Pro Elongated scored 95 out of 100 for power, and only six paddles I've tested hit harder. At $152.10 with code STSPICKLEBALL, it's the cheapest paddle on my site with a power score of 95 or more. It's firm and crisp, but not as stiff as the hardest power paddles, and it leans hollow. The ball comes off the face quickly, short shots are poppy but controlled, and the response is close to one to one, so you get back what you swing. Owners have reported big, easy power that stays controllable.
Who should skip it: Skip it if you need help at the kitchen, because its control of 18 is the lowest on this list.
It sits below the Axiom, which spins far more and has clearly more control. It takes the last spot from the Enhance DUO Elongated, which was here on October 4, 2026, because it hits clearly harder for $2.89 less, though the DUO has far more control.
Four rules decide which paddles make the list and in what order.
Every score comes from my own tests, run the same way on every paddle.
I start with the most popular, best current elongateds, then put them in order by how they play for the price. Approval, warranty and handle length come after that.
I checked stock and prices on each brand's own store on October 14, 2026, and everything here could be ordered that day, with the J6CR Crystal Blue as a pre-order. I checked prices again on October 16, 2026, and every price here is with my code.
"Budget pick" means an Enhance Turbo under $100 with my code.
An elongated gives you the most reach and the most power of the three shapes. Of the 23 paddles I've tested that score 90 or more for power, 12 are elongated. The typical elongated scores 80 for power, against a power score of 76.5 for a typical hybrid and 64.5 for a typical widebody, and at 16.5 inches long, it's half an inch longer than a typical widebody.
The cost is forgiveness, and it's a big one. The typical elongated scores 52 for sweet spot and 45 for control. That's far below a typical hybrid, at 71.5 for sweet spot and 71 for control, and a typical widebody, at 83 for sweet spot and 76 for control. The elongated swings heavier too, with a typical swing weight of 117.6, against a swing weight of 111.9 for a hybrid and 108.8 for a widebody.
That's why this is the shape for min-maxing. The better you get, the more often you hit the center and the more touch you have, so the more sweet spot and control you can trade for reach and power. It's also why 8 of the 10 paddles on my advanced list are elongated. If you're still learning to keep the ball low, start with a hybrid or a widebody, or with the J6CR Crystal Blue, whose sweet spot trails only two elongateds I've tested.
Long handles are common in this shape, which helps if you hit a two-handed backhand. About a quarter of the elongateds I've tested have a handle of 5.75 inches or longer. Only 11 hybrids and seven widebodies I've tested have one that long.
The pro is reach, and the power that comes with it. Of the 23 paddles I've tested that score 90 or more for power, 12 are elongated. The con is forgiveness. The typical elongated scores 52 for sweet spot and 45 for control, far below a typical widebody's 83 for sweet spot and 76 for control, and it swings heavier, with a swing weight of 117.6 against 108.8.
Not because of the shape. The typical elongated measured 2,277 RPM, about the same as the typical hybrid's 2,272 RPM and the typical widebody's 2,272.5 RPM. The face is what decides spin. The Honolulu J6CR Crystal Blue measured 2,424 RPM, more than any other elongated I've tested, and it's $175.50 with code STS10.
Not to start with. None of the ten paddles on my beginners list is an elongated, because control is what a new player needs most, and the typical elongated scores far less for control, 45 against 76 for a typical widebody. If you still want one, that list has a box for it, starting with the Enhance MPP Turbo ArmorGrit Elongated at $99.99 with code STSPICKLEBALL, then the J6CR Crystal Blue and the OMNI Elongated.
Yes, and this is the shape for it. I look for 5.5 inches or more, and most of the elongateds I've tested have it. Nine of the ten picks here do. The Honolulu J6CR Crystal Blue and the 11SIX24 Hurache-X Power 2 have the longest handles on this list, at 6 inches, and the Vatic Pro V-Sol Pro V7 has the shortest, at 5.3 inches.
Eight of the ten on this list are, and the OMNI Elongated and the Axiom Elongated also have UPA-A approval. The Honolulu J6CR Crystal Blue and the 11SIX24 Hurache-X Power 2 are approved by UPA-A only. If you want the J6CR for USA Pickleball events, the raw J6CR is the approved version, and it scored 92 for power and measured 2,338 RPM.
There are three on this list, all at $99.99 with code STSPICKLEBALL. For pop and the biggest sweet spot, get the Vatic Pro V-Sol Pro V7, with pop at 94 and a sweet spot of 71. For spin, get the Enhance MPP Turbo ArmorGrit Elongated, at 2,338 RPM. For the most power, get the Enhance EPP Turbo Elongated, which scored 91 for power, though it swings the heaviest of the three.
Six paddles people ask about, and where they are instead.
Enhance DUO ElongatedIt was tenth here on October 4, 2026. The Aura Pro Elongated took the spot with clearly more power for $2.89 less, though the DUO keeps far more control, 45 against 18.
Thrive Fury ElongatedIt was ninth here on October 4, 2026, and it's tenth on my advanced list. The RPM Q2 Elongated and the Friday Aura Pro Elongated took the new spots here.
Enhance MPP Turbo ElongatedThe original is still sold at the same $99.99, but its ArmorGrit version, seventh here, spins far more, 2,338 RPM against 2,232, and has a little more control.
Luzz Inferno2 M1It's second on my advanced list and second on my power list, and only one paddle I've tested hits harder. But its control score of 25 is lower than 8 of the ten picks here, and it's approved by UPA-A only.
Honolulu J6CRThis is the USA Pickleball approved version of my No. 1, at the same $175.50 with code STS10. It hits a little harder, but the Crystal Blue spins more, 2,424 RPM against 2,338.
