The pickleball paddle with the most spin is the Honolulu J2CR Long Handle Crystal Blue, because at 2,467 RPM it spins more than any other paddle I've tested, and it's $175.50 with code STS10.
Everybody wants more spin, at every level, so this list is ranked by one number, the RPM I measure off each paddle. All 10 picks measured between 2,467 and 2,375 RPM, which is far more spin than the typical paddle. Any two neighbors spin about the same, so each card tells you what else that paddle does and who it's for.

Score out of 100Rank among hybrids you can buy
Nothing I've measured spins more than the J2CR Long Handle Crystal Blue. It read 2,467 RPM, and it pairs that spin with a lot of pop, since only two hybrids I've tested have more. The Crystal Blue makes it a little stiffer than the raw J2CR, but it's still more plush than most durable grit paddles. Contact is hollow, though not as loud as a Boomstik, and it swings light for a hybrid, so it's really quick in hands battles. Owners have reported it quickly became their main paddle.
Who should skip it: Players who miss the center a lot should look at the J3CR instead, because this one's twist weight of 6.32 is below the typical hybrid's 6.57, so the face turns more on mishits.
Honolulu sells it as the 6 inch Extended J2 handle option on its J2CR Crystal Blue listing, at the same price as the standard handle.
First place comes down to just 31 RPM over the J3CR Crystal Blue below, which is about the same spin on the same face. The Long Handle hits a little harder, and the J3CR is steadier on mishits. The Long Handle is $175.50 with code STS10.

Score out of 100Rank among widebodies you can buy
Widebody players get almost the same spin from the J3CR Crystal Blue. It measured 2,436 RPM, the most of any widebody I've tested, and it spins more than the next widebody, the Pegasus Jelly Bean 2. The J3CR also has clearly more power than the typical widebody. At contact it's hollow, poppy at the net and quick in the hands. It's one of only four widebodies I've tested with a handle of 6 inches or more, so there's room for two hands. Owners say it has a large, stable sweet spot.
Who should skip it: If you want the most pace from a Crystal Blue, go with the J6CR right below it, because it hits a little harder.
Between the Long Handle above and the J6CR below, the spin is about the same on the same face, so you're really choosing a shape. Of the three Crystal Blues, the J3CR is the most forgiving, with a clearly bigger sweet spot than the J6CR and a little more control. Code STS10 brings it to $175.50.

Code STS10 takes 10% off, and my link applies it. How the Honolulu code works
Score out of 100Rank among elongateds you can buy
The J6CR Crystal Blue puts the same face on an elongated, and it's the paddle I put first on my Best of 2026 list. It measured 2,424 RPM, the most of any elongated I've tested, and it keeps a lot of forgiveness for the shape, since only two other elongateds have a bigger sweet spot. You still get a little of that Honolulu softness compared to most power paddles, it's just not a plush paddle. The ball comes off in proportion to your swing, and it moves quickly for an elongated. Owners have reported it became their main paddle because it gives them power, pop, spin and control together.
Who should skip it: Anyone who plays USA Pickleball sanctioned events can't use it, since it's approved by UPA-A only.
Honolulu sells it in numbered pre-order batches, and on October 14, 2026, batch 12 was sold out and batch 13 was set to ship November 13, 2026.
On spin, it's about even with the J3CR above and the Vapor Jelly Bean 2 below. Next to the J3CR, it trades a clearly smaller sweet spot for a little more power and more reach. Next to the Vapor, it has far more power. With code STS10, you'll pay $175.50.

Spin with soft touch

Code STSPICKLEBALL takes $10 off, and my link applies it. How the 11SIX24 code works
Score out of 100Rank among hybrids you can buy
This is where the list turns from pace to touch. The Vapor Jelly Bean 2 measured 2,403 RPM, the most of any paddle outside the three Crystal Blues, on a soft, dense paddle that's quiet at contact and far softer than 11SIX24's Power 2 paddles. The ball sinks into the face, and its low pop soaks up pace, so dinks stay low and drops dip. Its control score is 78 out of 100, and only 14 hybrids I've tested have more. 11SIX24 says plainly it isn't a power paddle, so you bring the pace on drives. Owners say they can swing away without sending balls long.
Who should skip it: Pass on it if you win with fast hands, because its swing weight of 116.8 is heavier than all but one hybrid I've tested.
Spin won't separate it from the J6CR above or the Ultré Jelly Bean 2 below. Against the J6CR, the Vapor has far less power and a little more control. Against the Ultré, it has the same control and a little less power, but its 5.5 inch handle has room for two hands. It costs $159.99 with code STSPICKLEBALL.

Soft spin, more drive

Score out of 100Rank among hybrids you can buy
The Ultré Jelly Bean 2 has the same soft, quiet build as the Vapor, just in a different hybrid shape, and it measured 2,397 RPM. It scored 78 for control, the same as the Vapor, and it hits a little harder. It swings heavy for a hybrid, since only nine hybrids I've tested swing heavier, so you trade some hand speed at the kitchen for plow-through on drives. Dinks are excellent, and resets are easy, though you add a little push yourself. Owners report control with few pop-ups, easy handling and spin.
Who should skip it: Two-handed backhand players will find its 5.35 inch handle tight for two hands.
Only the Cosmic Grape color was in stock at 11SIX24 on October 14, 2026.
Only 6 RPM separate it from the Vapor above, and 1 RPM from the CMD Hybrid below, so spin won't decide this one. The CMD has clearly more power and clearly more pop, while the Ultré keeps a little more control for $2 less. My code STSPICKLEBALL takes it to $159.99.

The CMD Hybrid is the newest paddle here, and Volair licensed 11SIX24's HexGrit for it, the same grit face the Jelly Bean 2s use. The CMD measured 2,396 RPM. It sits right between the soft Jelly Bean 2s and the more powerful Power 2. With 79 for power and 82 for pop, it has more pace than the Jelly Bean 2s, and it keeps clearly more control than the Ultré Power 2. It's softer than the Power 2 but firmer than the Jelly Bean 2, and the ball stays on the face long enough to work it. Owners say they like its blend of feel and power.
Who should skip it: If you miss the center a lot, I'd look elsewhere, because its sweet spot scored 69 out of 100 and nearly half the paddles I've tested are more forgiving.
Volair lists it under the name CMD HYB Pickleball Paddle 16mm Dylan Frazier.
Call it a tie on spin, since it's 1 RPM behind the Ultré Jelly Bean 2 and 1 ahead of the Hurache-X Jelly Bean 2. Against the Hurache-X, it has a clearly bigger sweet spot and clearly more control for $2 more. You'll pay $161.99 with code STSPICKLEBALL.

Score out of 100Rank among elongateds you can buy
Only one elongated I've tested spins more than the Hurache-X Jelly Bean 2, the J6CR, and the two feel very different. The Hurache-X measured 2,395 RPM, and it has the same soft feel as the rest of 11SIX24's Jelly Bean 2 paddles. It's dense and quiet, and the ball sinks into the face before it leaves. It also swings lighter than the typical elongated, so it moves more like a hybrid. Its 6 inch handle has room for two hands. Owners have reported control, easy resets and easy spin.
Who should skip it: Its sweet spot of 50 is the smallest on this list, so it's a poor fit if you miss the center a lot.
Against the Axiom right below, the spin is a tie, and the CMD above is the same story, so this one comes down to touch against pace. The Hurache-X has far more control and clearly less pop than the Axiom, for $20 less. With code STSPICKLEBALL it's $159.99.

If you play USA Pickleball sanctioned events, start here. The Engage Axiom Elongated measured 2,394 RPM, the most of any USA Pickleball approved paddle I've tested, and it's the only pick on this list approved by both USA Pickleball and UPA-A. It doesn't use grit. Engage gets the spin from a textured carbon face instead, and the honeycomb core gives it that firm, crisp, classic honeycomb feel. Its pop of 91 is the most on this list, so speed-ups and counters come off the face quickly. It also comes with a lifetime warranty.
Who should skip it: Steer clear of it if your soft game needs help, because its control score of 31 is the lowest on this list.
The Ultré Power 2 below is only 7 RPM back, so the spin is the same. The Ultré also has clearly more power, a far bigger sweet spot and far more control for $20 more, but it's UPA-A only. The Axiom is $179.99 with code STSPICKLEBALL.

The Ultré Power 2 hits harder than anything else on this list, with a power score of 94, and it still measured 2,387 RPM. It's one of only four paddles I've tested that score 90 or more for both power and spin. It's moderately firm, with a fairly deep, hollow-leaning sound, and it's poppy on short strokes, so soft shots need a light touch. It's also stable for a hybrid, steadier than the Vapor Power 2. Owners have reported plenty of pop and drive power that still feels controllable.
Who should skip it: If your resets and drops still pop up, look elsewhere, because its control scored 58 out of 100 and most of the paddles I've tested are more controllable.
Both the Axiom above and the Pegasus Jelly Bean 2 below spin about the same as this one. Against the Axiom, it hits clearly harder with far more control. The Pegasus is the opposite trade, with far less power but far more control for $40 less. Expect to pay $199.99 with code STSPICKLEBALL.

The Pegasus Jelly Bean 2 is the only paddle I've tested that scores 85 or more for control, spin and sweet spot at the same time, so it's the most forgiving spin paddle you can buy. It measured 2,375 RPM, and its sweet spot of 91 is the biggest on this list. It's soft, dense and quiet, with low pop that soaks up pace, so dinks stay low and resets are easy, though you add a little push yourself. Owners keep pointing to its touch on resets and dinks.
Who should skip it: Big hitters who want the paddle to add pace won't get it here, since its power score of 63 is tied for the lowest on this list.
A tie with the J2CR Crystal Blue at 2,375 RPM puts it tenth, and it gets the card because the J2CR's Long Handle version is already first. Next to the Ultré Power 2, it spins about the same, with far more control and far less power for $40 less. That's $159.99 after code STSPICKLEBALL.
Five rules decide which paddles make the list and in what order.
This list is ranked by RPM. I measure spin with a separate set of 20 serves per paddle on my radar, all hit just for spin.
Any shape and any thickness can make it, as long as I'd recommend the paddle today. Four paddles I've tested max out my spin score at 100, which is why I rank by RPM instead.
The Pegasus Jelly Bean 2 and the J2CR Crystal Blue tie for 10th at 2,375 RPM.

The face does most of the work. Only about one in eight paddles I've tested has a grit face, but 15 of the 20 highest RPM readings come from grit. The typical grit face measured 2,344 RPM, which is more than the 2,264 RPM of the typical raw carbon face. That's why 9 of my 10 picks have grit, and the one that doesn't, the Engage Axiom Elongated, uses a textured carbon face instead. The best plain raw carbon face is the RPM Q2 Elongated, at 2,374 RPM.
Shape barely matters for spin. The typical widebody, hybrid and elongated all measured within 5 RPM of each other. You can see it at the top of this list, where Honolulu's Crystal Blue takes first, second and third as a hybrid, a widebody and an elongated. Shape changes your reach and how forgiving the paddle is, but the face decides the spin.
Spin doesn't come with power, either. The picks here run from a power score of 63 on the Vapor and Pegasus Jelly Bean 2 to a power score of 94 on the Ultré Power 2, and the soft Vapor Jelly Bean 2 spins about the same as the Ultré. Every pick here already spins far more than the typical paddle, so pick the one that fits the rest of your game.
That's the Honolulu J2CR Long Handle Crystal Blue, at 2,467 RPM, more than any other paddle I've tested. It's $175.50 with code STS10. It's approved by UPA-A only, though. If you play USA Pickleball events, the Engage Axiom Elongated is the most spin you can take there, at 2,394 RPM, and it's $179.99 with code STSPICKLEBALL.
Not much on these. In my wear test, 11SIX24's HexGrit and Honolulu's Crystal Blue each lost about 1% of their spin over 75 games. Crystal Blue is on the three Honolulus, and HexGrit is on the four Jelly Bean 2s, the CMD Hybrid and the Ultré Power 2. The Axiom gets its spin from a textured carbon face instead.
On this list, it's the four Jelly Bean 2s, at $159.99 each with code STSPICKLEBALL. If you need to stay under $100, the Enhance MPP Turbo ArmorGrit Hybrid measured 2,354 RPM, the most of any paddle under $100 with my codes, and that's only 21 RPM short of my tenth pick. It's $99.99 with code STSPICKLEBALL.
It can be, if it's a forgiving one. The Pegasus Jelly Bean 2 is third on my beginners list, because it pairs 2,375 RPM with a control score of 88 and a sweet spot of 91. I'd keep a new player away from the Axiom, since its control score of 31 is the lowest on this list.
With 20 serves per paddle on my radar, all hit just for spin and separate from the serves I use for power. This list is ranked by that RPM. The picks here run from 2,467 RPM on the J2CR Long Handle Crystal Blue down to 2,375 RPM on the Pegasus Jelly Bean 2, and the typical paddle I've tested measured 2,263 RPM.
Five paddles people ask about, and where they are instead.
Honolulu J2CR Crystal BlueIt ties the Pegasus Jelly Bean 2 for 10th at 2,375 RPM, and the J2CR Long Handle in first place has the same head and Crystal Blue surface with a 6 inch handle. It's first on my hybrid list and second on my intermediate list.
11SIX24 Vapor Power 2Just 1 RPM kept it off the list, since its 2,374 RPM ties for 12th. It's sixth on my Best of 2026 list and fourth on my hybrid list.
RPM Q2 ElongatedNo other raw carbon face I've tested spins more than its 2,374 RPM, which also ties for 12th. You'll find it third on my power list.
11SIX24 Pegasus Power 2The widebody Power 2 measured 2,361 RPM, good for 15th. It's first on my intermediate list and second on my widebody list.
Enhance MPP Turbo ArmorGrit HybridIf you need to stay under $100, this is the one, with 2,354 RPM, the most of any paddle under $100 with my codes. It sits seventh on my under $100 list and sixth on my hybrid list. Each pick against the one ranked just below it. Tap one to compare every number.
