The best pickleball paddle of 2026 is the Honolulu J6CR Crystal Blue, because it gives you a really big sweet spot for an elongated and 2,424 RPM of spin, which only two paddles I've tested beat, for $175.50 with code STS10.
These are the 10 best all-around paddles you can buy right now, in the order I'd recommend them. Every one of them holds up on all five of my scores, so none of them has a real weak spot, and that's what I mean by all-around. Each card tells you who the paddle is for and who should skip it.

The best all-around paddle
$175.50with my codelist price $195
Code STS10 takes 10% off, and my link applies it. How the Honolulu code works
Score out of 100Rank among elongateds you can buy
This is the paddle I'd recommend to the most players, and it's an elongated, which is the hardest shape to make work as an all-around paddle. Only two elongateds I've tested have a bigger sweet spot. The J6CR also keeps a control score of 69 out of 100 with a power score of 87, and the typical elongated with that much power only scores 25 for control. The J6CR's spin is near the top of all the paddles I've tested too, and that spin lasts, because in my wear test, Honolulu's Crystal Blue lost about 1% of its spin over 75 games. It's a bit stiffer than the raw carbon J6CR, but it's still more plush than most durable grit paddles, and it's quick for an elongated.
Who should skip it: Skip it if you play USA Pickleball sanctioned events, because UPA-A is the only approval it has, so you can't use it there.
Honolulu sells it in numbered pre-order batches, and on October 14, 2026, batch 12 was sold out and batch 13 was set to ship November 13, 2026.
Next to the Boomstik Elongated right below it, the J6CR spins far more and has clearly more control, with about the same sweet spot, for $157.50 less. The Boomstik hits clearly harder, so it's the one for players who want the bigger hitter, but for an all-around paddle I'd take the J6CR, at $175.50 with code STS10.

Most power and pop together

Code INF-STSPICKLEBALL adds a $40 gift card, the most Selkirk gives on an order this size, and my link applies it. How the Selkirk code works
Score out of 100Rank among elongateds you can buy
The Boomstik Elongated scored 97 out of 100 for power and 99 for pop, and it's one of only six paddles I've tested that score 90 or higher on both power and pop. Only one other elongated I've tested does it, and the Boomstik beats that one on both power and pop, even though the Boomstik came out in August 2025. Its sweet spot of 74 out of 100 is also the biggest of any elongated I've tested. It's firm and stiff for a foam paddle, with that loud, boomy sound the Boomstik is known for, and it plays the same from your first game, with no break-in.
Who should skip it: Skip it if your dinks and resets still pop up, because its control score of 56 is the lowest on this list.
On October 14, 2026, Selkirk had it in stock in Canyon Clay and Calypso, and the Black was sold out.
Next to the Ultré Power 2, the Boomstik has clearly more pop, with about the same power, sweet spot and control. The Ultré spins more and costs $133.01 less, but it's UPA-A only, and the Boomstik is USA Pickleball approved with a lifetime warranty. It's $333. Selkirk's code INF-STSPICKLEBALL adds a Selkirk gift card instead of lowering the price.

Power and spin together
$199.99with my codelist price $209.99
Code STSPICKLEBALL takes $10 off, and my link applies it. How the 11SIX24 code works
Score out of 100Rank among hybrids you can buy
This is the pick if you want power and spin in one paddle. The Ultré Power 2 scored 94 out of 100 for power and 95 for spin, and it's one of only four paddles I've tested that score 90 or higher on both power and spin. Only one other hybrid I've tested does it, the Vapor Power 2, sixth on this list, and the Ultré beats it on both. The other two, the Luzz Inferno2 M1 and the RPM Q2 Elongated, have far less control. 11SIX24 put it out in June 2026 as the newest shape in its Power 2 line, and it's steadier on mishits than the Vapor Power 2. It's moderately firm and crisp, and it's poppy off short strokes, so soft shots need a light touch.
Who should skip it: Skip it if your resets and drops still pop up, because its control score of 58 is the second lowest on this list.
Next to the J2CR Crystal Blue right below it, the Ultré hits clearly harder with about the same spin, so it's the one to get if you want more pace. The J2CR has clearly more control and a little bigger sweet spot for $24.49 less. The Ultré is $199.99 with code STSPICKLEBALL.

No real weak spot
$175.50with my codelist price $195
Code STS10 takes 10% off, and my link applies it. How the Honolulu code works
Score out of 100Rank among hybrids you can buy
If you want a paddle with no real weak spot, this is the one I'd get. Only seven paddles I've tested score 75 or higher out of 100 on all five of my scores, and the J2CR Crystal Blue is one of them, along with the Loco Standard, eighth on this list. The J2CR also spins really well, since only nine paddles I've tested spin more than its 2,375 RPM. The Crystal Blue coating makes it a bit stiffer than the raw carbon J2CR, but it's still more plush than most durable grit paddles, and it's really quick in the hands. If you hit a two-handed backhand, the J2CR Long Handle Crystal Blue costs the same and has a 6 inch handle.
Who should skip it: Skip it if you want easy power on your drives, because its power score of 81 is the third lowest on this list.
It sits behind the Ultré Power 2 because the Ultré is the harder hitter. Next to the OMNI Elongated below it, the J2CR has clearly more pop, a clearly bigger sweet spot and a little more control, with about the same spin, for $124.50 less. The J2CR is $175.50 with code STS10.

Steadiest face in an elongated

Code INF-STSPICKLEBALL adds a $40 gift card, the most Selkirk gives on an order this size, and my link applies it. How the Selkirk code works
Score out of 100Rank among elongateds you can buy
Its twist weight of 7.02 is the highest of any elongated I've tested, so the face holds steady when you miss the center. Its control score of 68 is far above the 45 a typical elongated scores for control. It plays like a toned-down Boomstik. It's stiff and hollow with the stock clip weights, a step softer than the Boomstik, and it has far less pop, so your resets come easier. It swings heavy as it comes, but you can move the clips by hand to lighten it. Owners have reported it's one paddle they can reset, dink and drive with.
Who should skip it: Skip it if you want pop at the net, because its pop score of 79 is the lowest on this list.
The Vapor Power 2 below it hits clearly harder and costs $100.01 less, with about the same spin and control. The OMNI ranks ahead because it's approved by both USA Pickleball and UPA-A, with a lifetime warranty, while the Vapor is UPA-A only. The OMNI is $300. Selkirk's code INF-STSPICKLEBALL adds a Selkirk gift card instead of lowering the price.

Power with quick hands
$199.99with my codelist price $209.99
Code STSPICKLEBALL takes $10 off, and my link applies it. How the 11SIX24 code works
Score out of 100Rank among hybrids you can buy
This is the power hybrid for players who win with fast hands, and it's $199.99 with code STSPICKLEBALL. The Vapor Power 2 scored 91 out of 100 for power, and only four hybrids I've tested hit harder, including the Ultré Power 2 and the Zen S+, which are both on this list. The Vapor Power 2 also measured 2,374 RPM, which is far more spin than the typical hybrid. It swings light for a power hybrid, so counters, speed-ups, flicks and rolls are its strengths. It's moderately firm with some give, which makes it softer than a Loco or a Boomstik, but the pop is above average, so soft shots need a little touch.
Who should skip it: Skip it if you play in USA Pickleball sanctioned events, since you can't use a UPA-A only paddle there.
The Zen S+ below it has a little more power, pop, sweet spot and control, with about the same spin, for $30 less, and it's USA Pickleball approved. The Vapor stays ahead because its 11SIX24 HexGrit face held up as well as Honolulu's Crystal Blue in my wear test, and it's in stock, while the Zen is sold in pre-order batches.

The most power there is
$169.99with my codelist price $188.88
Code STSPICKLEBALL takes 10% off, and my link applies it.
Score out of 100Rank among hybrids you can buy
No paddle I've tested hits harder than the Zen S+, which scored 100 out of 100 for power. It also has the most pop and the biggest sweet spot of any hybrid I've tested, and it swings lighter than anything else on this list, so it's really fast at the kitchen. It leans soft for a hollow power paddle, softer than the 11SIX24 Power 2 paddles here, and the sound is deep and loud in a way some players won't like. On dinks, nothing jumps off the face, so you add a little stroke, and your resets stay low, but you have to push them instead of just blocking. It's $169.99 with code STSPICKLEBALL.
Who should skip it: Skip it if you want a paddle that plays right from your first game, or if you like to block your resets instead of pushing them.
Pickleball Apes sells it in pre-order batches, and on October 14, 2026, Batch 5 was taking orders with no ship date shown.
It sits below the Vapor Power 2 mostly because its soft game takes some getting used to. Next to the Loco Standard below it, the Zen has far more power and clearly more pop, while the Loco has a clearly bigger sweet spot and a little more control for $35.66 less.

Most forgiving, lowest price
$134.33with my codelist price $149.25
Code STSPICKLEBALL takes 10% off, and my link applies it. How the Bread & Butter code works
Score out of 100Rank among widebodies you can buy
This is the most forgiving paddle on this list, and it's also the cheapest, at $134.33 with code STSPICKLEBALL. The Loco Standard scored 95 out of 100 for sweet spot, and only four paddles I've tested have a bigger one. Its control score of 79 is the most on this list too, but it's still a real power paddle, with clearly more power than the typical widebody. It's firm and dense for a foam paddle, firmer than Honolulu's NF line, and it has plenty of pop at the kitchen, a step below the Boomstik. Owners have reported it gave them power with control, and that their resets got better.
Who should skip it: Skip it if you want big pace or you hit a two-handed backhand, because its power score of 77 is the lowest on this list and its 5.3 inch handle is tight for two hands.
Only the Black was in stock at Bread & Butter on October 14, 2026, and the Loco 2 Elongated ships November 4, 2026.
It sits below the Zen S+ because the Zen hits far harder. Next to the TruFoam Barrage 4 below it, the Loco has a far bigger sweet spot and clearly more control, with about the same spin, for $72.66 less, though the Barrage hits clearly harder.

Dense feel, light swing
$206.99with my codelist price $229.99
Code STSPICKLEBALL takes 10% off, and my link applies it. How the CRBN code works
Score out of 100Rank among hybrids you can buy
This one is on the list for its feel. Most of the other paddles here lean hollow, and the CRBN TruFoam Barrage 4 is dense and solid instead, with a sharp crack on hard hits and a muted sound on soft ones. It scored 87 out of 100 for power and 86 for pop with a swing weight of 106.2, and only three hybrids I've tested swing lighter, so it's fast in hands battles once you have the face angle dialed in. It's not as stiff as a Loco or a Boomstik, and the ball goes where the face points, though the sweet spot drops off toward the edges. It's also the only 14mm pick.
Who should skip it: Skip it if spin matters to you, because its 2,264 RPM is the least on this list.
On October 14, 2026, CRBN had it on a store-wide sale at $229.99, down from $279.99.
The RPM Q2 Widebody below it has clearly more pop and more spin for $18 more, with about the same power and control. The Barrage ranks ahead because of that dense, solid feel, and because it's approved by both USA Pickleball and UPA-A. It's $206.99 with code STSPICKLEBALL.

Score out of 100Rank among widebodies you can buy
If you want Boomstik-style power and sound in a widebody for a lot less money, this is the one. The RPM Q2 Widebody scored 98 out of 100 for pop, and only three paddles I've tested have more, one of them the Boomstik Elongated. Only two widebodies I've tested hit harder than its power score of 90, and one of them is the Enhance EPP Turbo Widebody. The Q2 Widebody is loud and boomy at contact, close to a sound-alike for the Boomstik, and it's very poppy off short strokes. It swings light, so it's quick at the kitchen. It's $224.99 with code STSPICKLEBALL, which is $108.01 less than a Boomstik.
Who should skip it: Skip it if you need help keeping your soft shots low, because its control score is 64 out of 100, and most widebodies I've tested have more.
The Barrage 4 above it holds that spot for its dense feel and both approvals, so the Q2 is the pick here if you want a loud, hollow, Boomstik-style widebody instead. What you give up is control, since it has clearly less than the Loco Standard, the other widebody on this list.
Five rules decide which paddles make the list and in what order. The ranking number is the one you can check yourself.
For each score, the share of elongated paddles I've tested that it beats:
Average of the five87%
The highest average on the list ranks first. Comparing within the shape keeps a widebody's bigger sweet spot from burying every elongated paddle.
Every score here comes from my own testing, and I run every paddle through the same tests.
Every pick scores 50 or more out of 100 for power, pop, spin, sweet spot and control, which is C tier or better on all five.
Every pick costs $100 or more with my code, and cheaper paddles compete on my under $100 list instead.
No brand gets more than two spots on this list.
Prices and stock are what each brand's own store showed on October 14, 2026, with my code.
Every pick here has all five scores at 50 or more out of 100, and only about a third of the paddles I've tested do that. For the ones that miss, control is what knocks out the most, since 71 of them score under 50 for control. That's because more power usually costs you control. The 43 paddles I've tested with a power score of 85 or more have a typical control score of 43, and the ones with power under 70 have a typical control score of 72. So if your soft game is still coming together, start with the Loco Standard, the J2CR Crystal Blue and the Zen S+, which have the most control here.
Shape makes a big difference too. I've tested more elongateds than any other shape, but only 20 of them clear that bar, against 40 hybrids and 32 widebodies, and that's mostly because about half the elongateds I've tested score under 50 for control. That's why only 3 of my 10 picks are elongateds, and it's a big part of why the J6CR Crystal Blue is my top pick, because it clears that bar in the hardest shape. If you're not sure which shape you want, a hybrid is the middle ground, and half of these picks are hybrids.
For spin, look at the face first. Paddles I've tested with a grit face have a typical 2,341 RPM, and the ones with a raw peel-ply face have a typical 2,255 RPM, so a grit face gets you more spin. That's a big reason 7 of my 10 picks have one.
For most players, it's the Honolulu J6CR Crystal Blue at $175.50 with code STS10. It's an elongated, but its sweet spot and control are both far above what a typical elongated gives you. The catch is that it's UPA-A only. For USA Pickleball sanctioned events, I'd get the Selkirk Boomstik Elongated for pace or the Selkirk OMNI Elongated for control.
Every paddle on this list is all-around, since each one scores 50 or more on all five of my scores, and my top pick is the J6CR Crystal Blue. If you'd rather have a hybrid, the J2CR Crystal Blue has no real weak spot. If you want a widebody, the Loco Standard has the biggest sweet spot and the most control on this list.
The Pickleball Apes Zen S+. Its power score of 100 out of 100 is the highest of any paddle I've tested, and it tops my power list. It's $169.99 with code STSPICKLEBALL, but it sells in pre-order batches. If you want that kind of power in an elongated, the Selkirk Boomstik Elongated scored 97 for power and 99 for pop, the most pop on this list.
Six of the 10, which are the Selkirk Boomstik Elongated, the Selkirk OMNI Elongated, the Pickleball Apes Zen S+, the Bread & Butter Loco Standard, the CRBN TruFoam Barrage 4 and the RPM Q2 Widebody. The OMNI and the Barrage 4 are also UPA-A approved. The other four, the J6CR Crystal Blue, the Ultré Power 2, the J2CR Crystal Blue and the Vapor Power 2, are approved by UPA-A only.
Not for the scores alone. The J6CR Crystal Blue at $175.50 spins more than the $300 OMNI Elongated, with a little more power and pop and about the same control and sweet spot. The extra $124.50 at Selkirk buys you approval from both USA Pickleball and UPA-A, and a lifetime warranty.
The Bread & Butter Loco Standard, at $134.33 with code STSPICKLEBALL. Every pick here costs $100 or more with my code. If you want to spend less than that, my under $100 list starts with the Enhance MPP Turbo ArmorGrit Elongated at $99.99.
Six paddles people ask about, grouped by why each one missed.
11SIX24 Pegasus Power 211SIX24 already has two spots here, the Ultré Power 2 and the Vapor Power 2. It tops my intermediate list and is second on my widebody list.
Selkirk Boomstik WidebodySelkirk already has two spots here, and both are elongated. It tops my widebody list and is fifth on my intermediate list.
Honolulu J2CR Long Handle Crystal BlueThe J2CR Crystal Blue with the standard handle is on this list instead, in the fourth spot. The Long Handle tops my spin list, since its 2,467 RPM is the most of any paddle I've tested, and it's third on my hybrid list.
RPM Q2 ElongatedIts control score of 20 and sweet spot of 38 are both under 50, and every pick here scores 50 or more on all five of my scores. It's third on my power list, fourth on my elongated list and eighth on my advanced list.
Enhance MPP Turbo ArmorGrit HybridIt's $99.99 with my code, and every pick here costs $100 or more. It's seventh on my under $100 list and sixth on my hybrid list.
